Mopar Dodge RAM 10-24 2500 3500 Truck 3rd Third Brake Light CAMERA Gasket CHMSL leak repair

DMT 2010-2019 Dodge RAM 2500 3500 third brake light / Center High Mounted Stop Light (CHMSL) WITH CAMERA gasket. Fixes 3rd brake light leaks. This material will not shrink or take a set like the cheap factory PVC foam gasket. This gasket is a .187" thick, automotive spec, EPDM foam rubber gasket.

Note: The old gasket has to be cleaned off the light. When I put this on my own RAM getting ALL the old gasket and adhesive off was a real PIA but necessary. Shown in the 3rd picture is the gasket after about 3 months of use (testing) on my truck.

Note: This IS FOR for the 3rd brake light with CAMERA, ONLY!!!! Have gasket for lights without camera too. NOT FOR 1500 trucks. 

I've been get the following questions;
- Is this is a lot thicker than the factory one. NOPE. Gaskets don't work that way. It's slightly thicker. Much thicker would only warp the light. This is the highest quality EPDM foam rubber. THATS the difference from the cheap materials the factory used.
- Should I use glue or silicone or cement with the gasket. NOPE.
- If a tree fell on my truck will it still seal the light. NOPE.
- Will it prevent a flat tire. NOPE.

WARPED LAMP HOUSINGS FROM HOT INCANDESCENT BULBS - I have had 2 customers now who said they have had to replace thier  3rd brake lamp because the housing was warped in the center. One customner said he switched to an LED bulb. Great idea.

DO NOT purchase if you don't think you have the skills required to remove the adhesive backing!!!

LASTLY, this is a high quality gasket. IF there is still a leak then IT WASN'T THE GASKET. Check the satellite antenna (gasket), check the rear window seal, check the plastic roof seam sealing strips, CHECK FOR WARPED LIGHT HOUSING.
