Mopar Dodge RAM 19-24 1500 Truck 3rd Third Brake Light Gasket CHMSL leak repair

DMT 2019-2024 Dodge RAM 1500 third brake light / Center High Mounted Stop Light (CHMSL) gasket. Fixes 3rd brake light leaks. This material will not shrink or take a set like the cheap factory PVC foam gasket. This gasket is a .187" thick, automotive spec, EPDM foam rubber gasket.

NOT FOR 2500 or 3500 trucks. 

Note: The old gasket has to be cleaned off the light. Getting ALL the old gasket and adhesive off is a real PIA but necessary. 

Note: This is NOT for the 3rd brake light with CAMERA. I shouldn't have to say this but NO, the light is NOT included. It's just to show the style light and how that gasket fits. 

I've been getting the following questions;
- Is this is a lot thicker than the factory one. NOPE. Gaskets don't work that way. It's slightly thicker. Much thicker would only warp the light. This is the highest quality EPDM foam rubber. THATS the difference from the cheap materials the factory used.
- Should I use glue or silicone or cement with the gasket. NOPE.
- If a tree fell on my truck will it still seal the light. NOPE.
- Will it prevent a flat tire. NOPE.

DO NOT purchase if you don't think you have the skills required to remove the adhesive backing!!!

This is a high quality gasket. IF there is still a leak then IT WASN'T THE GASKET. Check the satellite antenna (gasket), check the rear window seal, check the plastic roof seam sealing strips, CHECK FOR WARPED LIGHT HOUSING.

.187" high quality automotive spec black foam rubber with adhesive backing to attach to light. Much better material than OEM
