DMT steering column inner shift tube to outer tube spacer / bushing / retainer, charcoal foam seals & clip for 70-73 A, 71-72 B & 70-73 E bodies and 74 Challengers with COLUMN SHIFT AUTOMATIC TRANSMISIONS or STEERING COLUMN LOCKOUT USED ON 1970 VEHICLES ONLY. The charcoal foam seals were used to keep fumes from going up the steering column. They were installed by the factory but disintegrate after 50 years and are rarely seen or found in the column. The large foam goes between the outside of the shift tube and the column tube. The small foam goes on the steering column shaft and is between the shaft and the inside of the shift tube.
