OCCASIONALLY someone is looking to split atoms, thinking thier car was to gold standard that all parts should be duplicated to match thiers. In REALITY WORLD these cars were crude, the technology was primative, there were multiple suppliers so many of these items varied in shape, size, fit, thickness, etc. I'm a car guy and try to reproduce parts with the best fit, function and materials within reason (like these tank pads can't be made from asbestos like the originals). Basically I make everything the way I would expect to receive and use on my own car. If you have VERY HIGH expectaions, look elsewhere.
Note: Have these in 3 different materials;
.070" felt paper very similar to OE material,
.090" masticated rubber heavy weight for maximum sound deadening, .250" neoprene foam rubber light weight, inexpensive.
