The rear window seal can't be installed without the locking strip. Not sure why other sell the seal without it. The original locking strips are RARELY reusable after 60 years.

NOTE: The supplied reproduction locking strip is functionally identical to the original and looks better but it IS different than the OEM locking strip. See the comparison pictures of the new reproduction locking strip and the OEM locking strip. The OEM locking strip is no longer available and is not being reproduced.
